I kinda can’t believe it’s been a year. A year ago today I launched Plantiful Health!
This still all feels very new to me, I don’t feel settled at all. I am in the routine of posting regularly, blogs on Tuesdays, videos on Thursdays, and I love it. But it’s all still so…new.
I can’t believe I’ve come up with 52 things to write about (and counting…).
I definitely can’t believe I’m up to 42 videos on my YouTube channel. And if you’d told me a year ago my channel would have over 26,000 views I’d have told you you were crazy.
When I started this website, my goal was simple: spread the life-saving message of plant-based nutrition. I felt like I needed to add my voice to the discussion, and in that regard, I have been successful.
Thank you to everyone who has read a post, liked something I’ve shared on Facebook, retweeted me, checked out one of my videos, or told a friend. You mean the world to me.
I didn’t really know what to write about to commemorate my one-year anniversary in the plant-based movement, but I guess I can talk about what’s next.
I’ve written a book. I am working on editing it and making it amazing. I hope to be able to release it early next year! I want the book to serve as a standalone introduction to plant-based nutrition, an “introductory guide.” In theory, you should be able to read my book and learn everything you need to know to get started on this life-changing lifestyle!
Beyond that, I’d love to speak more. I have given a few talks on plant-based nutrition in the past and they are so much fun. That is a goal for the next year!
And the blog and videos continue to be a priority, I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon
I have to say in the past year I’ve already felt a big momentum shift when it comes to plant-based and vegan eating. It’s safe to say it’s been a good year for vegans. Awareness of the health and environmental benefits has never been higher, and eating this way has never been easier (or more delicious!).
I am excited to see what 2016 has in store, and am excited to keep adding credible, science-based content to the landscape. Let’s keep growing this movement!
Thanks again to everyone who has supported me along the way. Seriously your support means everything to me
Here’s to another great year at Plantiful Health! Thanks. -Devin
